The accent carries near-black text, never white: ink on the accent measures 5.9:1 and passes AA; white on it measures 3.3:1 and fails.

The name

NVR.news, with the full stop and a lowercase "news". In running text it may also be written NVR News. The masthead sets the wordmark in capitals; that is the mark, not the spelling.

The wordmark and the mark

  • The wordmark is "NVR" in bone or ink with ".news" always in the accent, on any ground. Its letters are outlines of Swiss 911 Compressed; the font is licensed and is not in the kit. Do not retype it in another face.
  • The mark is a rounded ink square carrying "NVR" and the accent full stop. Keep clear space of a quarter of its width on every side, and never place it on the accent colour.
  • Do not stretch, outline, shadow, recolour or animate either. Reproduce them at a size where the counters stay open: the wordmark no smaller than 24 px tall on screen.

Type

  • Headlines: Swiss 911 Compressed, capitals, one weight. Without it, use a compressed grotesque such as Helvetica Neue Condensed or Arial Narrow, never a normal-width face.
  • Text: Inter.

Use
