• The money. Who got the advance, who got recouped, who got paid late and by whom. Reported from documents, not from vibes.
• The platform beef. Bans, unbans, demonetisations and the DMs behind them, with the receipts in the sources box.

Masthead

Every story is edited by the editor before it runs. A byline names the person who reported and wrote it; the desk byline is used for stories assembled from filings and public records, and those carry their sources like any other.

Ownership and funding

NVR.news is published by SNVRKOTICS LLC, a Delaware company at 8 The Green, Ste A, Dover, DE 19901. The same company operates SNVRKOTICS, a rights-and-royalties platform for independent music, and NVR.to, a smart-link product. It was founded by Caleb Gottfried, who is also this title’s editor.

The title is funded by advertising. Ads are labelled wherever they appear, are never written by the editorial desk, and have no say in what runs. When no advertiser has bought a position, the position carries a labelled house advertisement for the publisher’s own products.

That ownership is relevant to the coverage: this title reports on the industry its publisher sells software to. A story about a SNVRKOTICS customer, partner or competitor says so in the text, and the editorial standards bind the publisher as much as the desk.
